10/24/08 - Westfield, NY - Today was definitely a day of generous people. After leaving most gracious host in Lamberton, I met a guy on the side of the road who offered me a prayer and $10 bucks to help defray the cost of the trip. assistance I need, then Dave stopped by and offered me a place to stay at his farm with 5 Belgians. Dave and his son Dean saw that I was well supplied with hay for the next few days. The horses and I are comfortably bedded down with all we need. The next few days are suppose to be rainy and cool, but we’ll continue to tough it out. I’m currently located about 10 miles from Pennsylvania and I should cross over tomorrow. My faith in the goodness of mankind remains strong and is continuously reinforced. |
