In the previous two years, a remarkable event has occurred. What started out as a simple wagon journey, to reshape my own life; turned into something far, far, more. As I strolled down the highways and byways of America, meeting folks, overcoming obstacles and writing of my adventures; hundreds, or perhaps thousands of people found their own lives reshaped. Whether is was the smile on the faces of the young and old as they petted, sat on, or drove the horses; or by setting an example of determination in the face of adversity, many lives were enriched and changed for the better.
Some would say that it’s playing God to try and change so many I lives. I tend to agree with them, and don’t think that’s a real a problem. I think God looks favorably upon those that do his good work. If you can make the world a better place and move everything forward in a positive direction, he will do his best to help you out from time to time. If you’re doing your best and need a little help, just ask him - it’s amazing how fast it shows up.
Following the siege of Troy, in ancient times, Ulysses embarked on a 10 year journey to reach home. Rather than using Homer’s poetic prose to describe my own journey, I choose pictures instead. Since pictures are worth a thousand words, and as Homer’s Odyssey was only 15,000 words long, I hope I outdid the ‘Ol Rascal.
